Currently out soliciting your support with its “BE KIND” campaign. Addressing Mental Health Awareness is the core cause, education is the goal. The Mental Health issues in society are not going to go away, without our love and compassion.
Some of us are direct care providers. We have a somewhat unique perspective on some very challenging problems.
So even at the worst of our times; we can afford to make a point of being kind to others. Your kind words, helpful manner, or even hello may be enough to help a struggling human through the current day.
“BE KIND” to others, it’s medicine proven to work.

Why should I support it?
My number one job is being a caregiver to someone suffering from schizophrenia. It is a full-time job, a completely unsubsidized job. I do this, not out of legal obligation, I do it because I love her. My reality, in Mental Health, is to be understanding and simply “Be Kind”. I am listed as a local volunteer; known by Wildwood Police; and this is only the beginning of what you should expect to see from my public efforts to bring more “Awareness”.
Homelessness, Affordable Housing, Mental Health, and Substance Usage Risk, all under one Umbrella: “Education” So when you see the guy “panhandling”; ask yourself this, “What must he be going through, that could drive him to do that?” It is difficult, if not impossible, to put yourself in the shoes of another human being. Nothing could help me understand until I voluntarily put myself in their position.

Over 3 Million of us think about Suicide every year
Nearly half of those make an attempt on their own lives 1.2 million

As an American you are twice as likely to die by your own hands (45,979 Suicides) vs the hands of another (24,576 Homicides)
Suicide is the 11th leading cause of death in the U.S.
Every day, approximately 132 Americans die by suicide.
There is one suicide death in the US every 10.9 minutes.
Suicide is the 3rd leading cause of death for 15 to 24-year-old Americans.
Come join me, as I share how Suicide, Suicidal thoughts, and Suicide Attempts have affected my life. You are not alone, in your trauma.
